Monday Mens



Monday at 7:00 p.m. 

The Men's League is open to all adult male club members. 

Teams are selected by the Draw Committee at the beginning of each of three draws. Upon completion of each draw, the top team will be declared draw winner and will be awarded a trophy:

1st Draw Winner - Quinte Isle Travel Trophy donated by Don and Pat Stanton

2nd Draw Winner - Quinte Aluminium donated by Don Nugent.

3rd Draw Winner - the Presidents Trophy.  

Each draw winner is qualified for the end of season playoff for the overall Men's Club Championship and the Bristol Trophy. The Bristol Trophy was originally donated by the Bristol Family, was out of service for many years and then rediscovered in the attic of Benson Hall by Art Hamblin. For 2019-2020, the third draw winner will receive a bye directly to the Championship final.

 

Players requiring a spare are responsible for finding the spare and informing their skip. Rules regarding spares are found on the "Find a Spare" tab.  

Scoring: Win = 8pts. Tie = 4pts each. Each end taken = 1pt. Blank end = 1/2pt. Default Win = 12pts Tie Breaker = Score Gap, then Win %, then Head to Head. The final game score of a team which plays an extra game due to byes will not count in the scoring. Monday at 4:30 pm

Monday Afternoon Mixed Draw League is open to all club members. It is the ideal starting league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some friendly competition in a social setting.  

Teams are selected by the Draw Committee at the beginning of each of three draws. Upon completion of each draw, the top team will be declared winner and will enter into a playoff with winners of the other Mixed leagues to determine an overall winner for each draw. The overall winner for each draw will receive a trophy:

1st Draw - Silver Ribbon Trophy donated by Don Baxter

2nd Draw - Clem Proctor Trophy donated by Mr. Proctor. 

3rd Draw - Highshore Real Estate Trophy donated by Michael Finnegan. 

Each of the 3 overall Mixed draw winners qualify for the end of season playoff for the Mixed Draw Club Championship and the Carter Trophy, donated by Colin and Doug Carter. For 2019-2020, the third draw winner will recieve a bye directly to the championship final.
