Registration Selection: **

1) Tick all the leagues in which you wish to play.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your request. In the event a league is over-subscribed, priority will be given on the basis of which other leagues each player has registered for. For example, a player who has signed up for only 1 league will have priority in that league. Changes to league time slots may be required in the event a league is under-subscribed and deemed not viable, or for other reasons as determined by the club.

  • For Draw leagues, please remember to indicate which position you wish to play. Teams will be established via random selection prior to the start of each draw.

  • For Flight leagues, please enter all team member names, although each team member must submit their own registration form. Not on a team or team incomplete? Write "assign" or "TBD" in the boxes for the missing team members.

2) Practice ice will be available the week of Oct 8th, and all leagues will start curling during the week of October 15, ice conditions permitting. 

3) Payment must be received before curling commences. Payment details (e-transfer or cheque) are listed below. 

4) Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

 

League Curling

Junior Members: Junior members are eligible to play only in the Junior League.

Saturday Junior League at 1:00 p.m.
Open to all Junior members ages 11 to 17 years old.  Provides an opportunity for aspiring young curlers to learn to play in a social setting.  Teams will be selected on the day considering the experience of each curler.

Helmets must be worn on the ice as well as clean shoes (runners or curling shoes).  Basic equipment (slider, broom) is available at the club. 

 

Adult Members: Choose an option.  An adult member is allowed to play in all eligible leagues during eligible draws

Monday Morning Mixed Draw at 9:30 a.m. 
This league is being added to provide a structured daytime playing option for club members and to relieve congestion in the Wednesday Mixed. Open to all members. This mixed draw league is an ideal starting league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some competition in a social setting.

Monday Afternoon Mixed Draw at 4:30 p.m.
Open to all club members. The mixed draw league is an ideal league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some competition in a social setting.

Monday Mens Draw at 7:00 p.m.
Open to all male members. The men's draw league is an ideal starting league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some competition in a social setting.

Notes for League Admin (Monday Mens): 

Tuesday Afternoon Social League at 1:00 p.m.

Open to all club members, the Tuesday Afternoon Social League provides an informal environment in which members can enjoy a friendly game. During the game each player will play two ends in each position, so every player has the opportunity to throw lead rocks as well as skip.  

Tuesday Ladies Draw at 5:30 p.m. 

Open to all female members. This Ladies draw league is an ideal starting league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some competition in a social setting. Games this year will be 8 ends.

Tuesday Doubles Draw at 7:45 p.m.
Open to all members.  Doubles format.

Wednesday Mixed Draw at 4:30 p.m.
Open to all club members. This mixed draw league is the ideal starting league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some competition in a social setting.

Wednesday Mixed Draw at 7:00 p.m. 
Open to all club members. This mixed draw league is the ideal starting league for new curlers as well as curlers who are looking for some competition in a social setting.

Notes for League Admin (Wednesday Mixed 7pm): 

Thursday Afternoon Social League at 1:00 p.m.

Open to all club members, the Thursday Social League provides an informal environment in which members can enjoy a friendly game. During the game each player will play two ends at each position, so every player has a chance to throw lead rocks as well as skip. 


Thursday Mixed Flight at 5:30 p.m.  
Enter your own team in this season long league. Teams must be mixed format (M-F-M-F or F-M-F-M).  During the season ending playoffs, teams play a knockout competition to determine flight winner.

 If you do not have a complete team, enter TBD for the missing positions in the registration form.

Friday Social League at 7:00 p.m. 
The Friday social league provides an informal environment in which members and prospective members can enjoy a friendly six end game followed by snacks supplied by members and social time with the other players. Many Learn to Curl graduates will initially play in this league as a way to further develop their skills. There are no league standings kept, the league is purely for fun. 

Sunday Social League at 9:30 a.m.  
The Sunday Social league provides an informal environment in which members and prospective members can enjoy a casual Sunday morning game. Teams are made up on the day.

After each game, players play a draw to the button and scores from the draw go towards individual end of season standings. 
Each week there is a one dollar fee for playing in this league, the money goes towards a Sunday league 50/50 draw. A cooked breakfast is available before the game for $4.00

Sunday Learn to Curl at 1:00 p.m. 
This program provides a structured introduction to curling in a non-competitive environment. On-ice Instructors will take aspiring new curlers through a 6 week program covering all the basics of curling including delivery,  sweeping, game etiquette and basic strategy. Following completion of the program, new curlers will be well positioned to join the evening and daytime draw leagues. The Learn to Curl program runs on Sunday afternoons before Christmas. Registration for this league is now closed for 2018-2019.
